Ethics Guideline At a session of the RTNworld International Association of Art Media and Entertainment Council Governing Committee in November, 2008, the following ethics guidelines were established for members of the RTNworld International Association of Art Media and Entertainment. Any breach of these guidelines may be punishable by censure or expulsion as outlined in the RTNworld International Association of Art Media and Entertainment Association Guidelines & Requirements. The following actions are prohibited by the RTNworld ethics guidelines: - Plagiarizing any material - Using RTNworld The International Association of Art Media Entertainment council membership to demand special treatment (this includes demanding promotional items for personal use) - Allowing any gifts or favours to influence decisions within the association council - Reviewing films or stage performances you have not seen - Reviewing films, art, music or stage performances in which you, or someone you know well, has a creative or financial interest without disclosing that information in the review or notify the association and the association council in a Statement. - Threatening or harassing artists, studio representatives, theatre owners/employees or other RTNworld International Association of Art Media and Entertainment members - Falsifying press credentials or professional association identification items - Falsely claiming to be an official representative of the RTNworld The International Association of Art Media Entertainment. - Unauthorized recording of theatrical releases, stage and/or art performances. - Council members as well as the President must renew their statement of independence, and commitment to the association. The Statement of independence is a document that is accessible for the members of the association. - It is under no circumstances allowed to nominate a new member to the association after just viewed one performance of the artist/person. - Members of the council are not allowed to talk about the work in the association or reveal information about the association to the press or outside the association. The RTNworld International Media Entertainment Association council and Governing Committee reserves the right to review and alter these guidelines as needed or upon the request of the RTNworld membership.
